Rave magazine – pop music covers from the 1960s
From February 1964 until September 1971, Rave was the 'music magazine where it was all happening'. Like its George Newnes/IPC stablemate Nove, Rave was groundbreaking in its approach and defined the era with its 'frank look at the pop world' of the Swinging Sixties. The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Cliff Richard were the stuff of its covers and double-page spread posters. This is the first of 8 pages of Rave covers.Rave covers 1964 (music monthly, Newnes / IPC)
